Who is Medennium
Medennium designs, develops, manufactures, and markets implantable lenses for the treatment of aphakia and myopia. These lenses provide patients visual freedom, lessening or eliminating reliance on glasses or contact lenses.
MPLTM phakic intraocular lens system
Phakic intraocular lens implantation offers permanent correction of severe myopia and hyperopia. Medennium’s innovative design and material sits comfortably between the natural lens and iris to conform to the anterior capsule’s shape while floating over the anatomy on a cushion of aqueous fluid.
IOL intraocular lenses
The Aurium™ material provides ideal folding and unfolding characteristics for small incision implantation, full diameter optic, and is the only IOL to offer active blue and violet light filtering. Medennium intraocular lenses are available as single-piece and three-piece configurations, each supporting a variety sub-2.5 mm incision injectors.
Dry Eye
SmartPLUG™ is designed to fit within the tear duct of the eye. Its unique design comfortably adjusts its shape and size to perfectly fit in the punctum. Once in place, SmartPLUG™ becomes undetectable and can easily be removed by an eyecare professional.
